We wanted to share with you a quick 3-page read provided by our clearing firm LPL, as a follow-up to the material we sent in early July (also provided by LPL) titled Midyear Outlook 2022: Navigating Turbulence. We felt this follow-up to be very timely & helpful in summarizing the things that have happened over the past 60 days since markets have bounced back a bit and as The Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell, and inflation in the economy continue to dominate the headlines.

The attached analysis covers both the current and year-end analyst consensus Price to Earnings Ratio (P/E) of the overall market, which is one of our very favorite topics to discuss with clients during our reviews. We find particular interest in the year-end case being made by LPL for earnings expectations.
